ELINET – das European Literacy Network lädt ein
ELINET ist ein europäisches Netzwerk für Literacy. Es wurde 2014 von der EU mit 80 Partnerorganisationen aus 28 europäischen Ländern bei einer großen Auftaktkonferenz in Wien gegründet und mit 3 Millionen Euro dotiert. Seit 2016 arbeitet ELINET als Association, basierend auf individuellen Mitgliedschaften. Träger*innen von ELINET sind führende Literacy-Expert*innen aus ganz Europa. Ziel von ELINET ist die Vernetzung und der internationale Austausch von Forschungsergebnissen, nationalen über internationalen Literacy-Aktivitäten und Best Practise-Beispielen.
Der aktuelle Jahres-Schwerpunkt ist „Enhancing Digital Literacy Skills: Good Practices for Early and Primary Years Education“. ELINET hat mit einem „Call to contribute“ zur Mitwirkung eingeladen: https://elinet.pro/current-research-project/#Call_to_contribute.

Objectives
- to improve and advocate literacy policies and practices across Europe to support all European citizens’ and residents’ lifelong rights to engage critically and creatively with communication and learning (see ELINET’s European Declaration of the Right to Literacy)
- to build and maintain a network of literacy experts (researchers, practitioners and policy makers)
- to provide a communication platform to strengthen and foster collaboration and cooperation between different stakeholders in the field of literacy promotion.
